Recycle+Remake+Resellman is about reusing or remaking something that would have ended up in a landfill.
Present here (on right) are a pair of wooden wine crates that were recovered from a wine party (thanks Loraine). I couldn't bare to see them end up in the trash, so I drew up plans and decided to make them into trays, using all internal parts as well (turned into picture frames). These boxes were too cool to go to a landfill!
The amazing thing is that all the corks fit evenly, like it was meant to be! These wine trays are stained and polished. Corks are laid on the bottom and brass or glass handles applied to the side. The boxes have pads for feet so they sit nicely as a display, or are highly functional for eating, drinking or carrying items out to the deck for dinner.
